Figurative Language

Figurative- departing from a literal use of words; metaphorical

Figure of Speech- a word or phrase used in a nonliteral sense to add rhetorical force to a spoken or written passage

Imagery- visually descriptive or figurative language

Trope- a figurative or metaphorical use of word or expression

They all describe a metaphorical word.
